At our St Peter’s Holiday Club, we:

Get outside as much as we can. We think it’s important for children to experience the outdoors in all weathers and at all times of year. Activities we provide include exploring woodland and fields, treasure hunts, den building, learning how to start fires safely, all kinds of arts and crafts including using tools. And there are opportunities to play football, tennis and rugby, as well as board games, baking, small world, role play and a cosy book corner for a place to chill too. 

We follow a healthy eating policy, which means breakfast consists of wholemeal toast, bagels, croissants, pancakes, brioche, sugar free cereal, natural yogurts and a variety of fresh fruit. Snacks are provided throughout the day along with a hot meal for either lunch or tea. This might be beans/spaghetti on toast, soup, pasta, noodles and there is always a pudding such as natural yogurt or pancakes. Fruit and veg are always on offer at mealtimes too. 

We encourage the children's independence throughout the session including the children signing themselves in, serving their own food and getting themselves ready to go and play outside. Holiday Club provides a safe and caring environment where children are given the opportunity to safely risk assess their own play through new environments, being able to relax and most importantly have as much fun as possible!
